A little story of our adventure trip in National Park Mount Rinjani in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
November 1 to November 2, 2010. I woke up early in the course promptly at 08.00 am after 2 days before departure must fulfill the obligation of work from morning until night. Alex and sms from Furqan continue to enter in my battered phone asking when will depart to the airport and where the meeting point. I immediately shower and immediately lift the already depek mainstay of the pack that night and drove to the meeting point is already determined. Meet Alex and additional content directly Furqon logistics and glided to Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Terminal 3 because it uses the Indonesia AirAsia. There has been waiting for Wan Abud and Bram which again drove to the airport.
Until the airport directly sms Bram was not reached and Wan Abud already stand by the gate. Bram come directly check in and therefore did not get to check in luggage as well as its officers do not recommend refrigerators do not enter the trunk then casually brought into the gate lah tuh refrigerator and placed in the cabin of the aircraft to the extent a matter for the attention of passengers at the gate and on the plane . Pay the platform directly kabarin Wan Abud when we're at the gate and waited for departure time, uh ... delay was approximately 1 hour.
Wan Abud depart first, while I, Bram, Alex and Furqon still have to stand by until departure time arrives. Finally a call to the plane arrived and immediately we headed by bus for the plane flight away. Then, boarding, take off to Bali .....
Bali landed at around 18:30 AM straight out of the airport looking for Riki and Wan Abud who had reached first on Bali and Angan who was already in the boarding house because he's from Jakarta in the morning. Meet Riki and Wan Abud and Anga are advised to contact a taxi or motorcycle taxi, and finally cars charter agreement aja sampe Ubung Terminal at a cost of Rp 20,000. Until the Ubung after waiting a few moments came Angan, Andre and Anga are dianter by his friends using the bike. Negotiable prices gained Rp 40,000 cars immediately drove to the port of Padangbai.
In direct Padangbai didatengin ticket scalpers and ticket brokers strangely in these port not entirely proven profit-taking at the counter price of the official and brokers alike Rp 31,000. What tuh ya pocketed all his money?
On the ship there is no meaningful activity, that there is only brake semalem. Finally arrived at the port sheet on the island of Lombok at around 4:00 pm. Breakfast, worship and wait for friends from Mataram to be picked. After waiting some time we finally picked up using a car that was coordinated by Bang Pian. Adjust the position went directly to the Secretariat Echoes of Nature that there's already waiting for some friends who would anther we visited Mount Rinjani.
Sampe secretariat, rest a little longer to directly set the position went to Sembalun in East Lombok with an additional 3 people namely friend Marsha Bang, Bang Bang Locker and Ion. Travel Mataram (Lombok Barat District) to Sembalun (East Lombok), although fairly heavy car for a slightly damaged road terrain and hill-climbs that require tremendous ahar down a few times a car can not back out of it.
Until the direct Sembalun change clothes and entrusted the preparation of goods that may not be used on the mountain later. Around 16:45 hours the journey begins with the local population through the fields, into the woods and directly served by a little stretch of savanna Rinjani is exotic keliatannya ramps but if dijalanin nyesek too.
At about 17:30 came on the bridge that connects the actual path and the path Sembalun fairly economical time piece. The photos further with the field heading 1 tetep savannas along the eye could see. 3 November 2010 - 4 November 2010 a sunny morning in the post 2 with the peak of Mount Rinjani waving makes us excited to be packing, eat and continue the journey to Plawangan Sembalun the field is still a savanna before finally climbing the real hill of suffering.
After walking about an hour we arrived at the post 3 with foggy weather. Because the journey is still far resting and joking a bit with the monkeys so we moved to leave the post 3 and is where the real climbing started, hill-climbs steep waiting for us in front of me as the team's struggling tourism.
Travel increasingly severe due to dense fog accompanied us and lower the rain which was originally a small point to be getting bigger which requires that we open the flysheet to wait for the rain to stop. The rain subsided and we continued our journey the weather was worsening as evidenced by the greater rain and make the condition of the body drop. The team was much applause darted in front of me as a team while tourism ngesot behind Bang Locker accompanied by the faithful.
Finally signpost Plawangan Sembalun look that makes me a little excited to get to the top of the hill which was once until there is a bonus Plawangan hilltop about 500 meters to go to the camp. Immediately I walked melipir hill and finally arrived at camp with treats Plawangan sunset view of Lake Segara Anak.
Until the tent, change clothes dry, eat right to sleep because the body can no longer compromise with the assumptions dihajak dawn summit later turned out to attact the rain still continued to accompany us that required us to summit attact discouraged and went back to sleep.
Morning of 4 November there are no special events at just eating, talking and drying wet clothing or fuel.
5 November 2010 early morning at around 3:00 AM we rushed up to summit of Mount Rinjani attact the weather is very, very supportive and star filled Plawangan breeze really makes me lazy to go but after the peak of Mount Rinjani was also feeling lazy ruled out first. Finish warm with a few cigarettes and coffee, we pray for the safety and success for all.
At 3:30 AM attact summit begins with a field-climbs steep hill toward the ridge to the summit of Mount Rinjani. Before dawn the team was on the ridge top of all of course with my most recent till. Basahin throat with a few sips of water running straight down the ridge with a fairly hostile terrain, but heavy fog and temperatures are pretty cold as evidenced by the existence of ice crystals in the eyelids and coats.
Here the team starts spilling some applause, but surely there is a relaxed and there are ngesot behind. One by one the team reached the highest peak ground Lombok and because the weather is not very supportive team had not gathered together at just the photos and wrote to the degree necessary to meet peak of Rinjani and immediately fell back to Plawangan looking for a little sun to warm the body.
After all re-assembled in the rain back down Plawangan turns that require us to spend the night back in Plawangan and not be visiting the Lake Segara Anak due to time and logistics are inadequate.
6 November 2010. In the morning the weather does not get better that there is only mist and drizzle of rain and due to time and logistical reasons we were soon packing and fall back via Sembalun and must give up Segara Anak. Segara Anak ya next time! The trip down the team scattered back because a fairly steep terrain make derivative failed knee and rain to accompany all the way down to the post Sembalun.
Finally the team arrived safely in Sembalun greeted all the bundles of rice that have been ordered from an earlier post by a team of applause. Further shower, change clothes, eat finally car pool came langsug set the position back to back to Mataram by first traveling to the Sasak tribe in the village of Bayan.
Settle for a walk in the village of Bayan while some people buy souvenirs directly proceed to Mataram to get something to eat. Up to Mataram, the content of the stomach and into the campus to turunin several refrigerators and a few people who will stay in Mataram dam we continued our journey to the port sheet to travel to Bali. Thanks for the buddy-buddy Mataram dam until meet again my friend.
7 November 2010. We arrived back at Padangbai, Bali in the morning was greeted with the sunrise. Jump off the ship and negotiable costs Rp 30,000 was finally agreed until the square Renon, Denpasar. During my journey continued coordination with the host to request permission karees stop and rest. Until the square turns out there are car free day that required us to walk among the participants a hefty hike in the spotlight because of refrigerators that we brought back.
Until finally also in boarding and directly buy breakfast, shower and clean up, rest a little and slid a little walk in Bali. Since the breakdown of Denpasar and the rain we only briefly stopped in Kuta directly to the airport because the plane will take me back to Jakarta will leave at 18:05 AM which turned out to be a delay of 1 hour.
I, Alex, Ben and Furqon rushed to check in and chat in front of the airport waiting for our departure back to Jakarta. Finally our time came to the gate because the time is already tight, whereas Angan, Riki, Andre and Anga still have to stay in Bali for their ticket home tomorrow.
